Kent ISD Surplus Equipment Giveaway

Kent County School Facilities Directors:

Kent ISD wishes to dispose of surplus equipment as listed below. These items have been declared surplus at Kent ISD School Board meetings. Please note that the list is subject to change and the available items may vary slightly from this list.

This surplus equipment is being made available to Kent ISD constituent school districts at no charge.  The condition is that districts utilize equipment for at least 12 months for the benefit of their students and instructional programs. 

These items will be made available on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 beginning promptly at 7:15 am at the Kent ISD Maintenance Building, 1655 East Beltline N.E., Grand Rapids, MI  49525. The Maintenance Building is located behind the Kent Career/Technical Center in parking lot 4. 

If you are interested in any of this equipment please note the following:

• The give-away starts promptly at 7:15am.  You are welcome to enter the Facilities building at door E-11 and line up in the garage. First to arrive is first in line.
• One District staff member is welcome to tag items.
• Certain items may be declared “one per district”.
• Check out with a Kent ISD employee before loading items.
• Be prepared to take as many of the items with you as possible on the day of the giveaway.  A time extension may be granted if a large number of items are selected.

• All available items will be available to preview on Monday, March 25th.
